The Association of National Numbering Agencies (ANNA) and Digital Token Identifier Foundation (DTIF) win ‘Best Data Solution for Digital Assets’ at the Data Management Insight Awards Europe 2025

London, 4 December 2025 – We are pleased to announce that the Association of National Numbering Agencies (ANNA) and the Digital Token Identifier Foundation (DTIF) have won ‘Best Data Solution for Digital Assets’ at the Data Management Insight Awards Europe 2025. These annual awards recognise leading providers of data management solutions, services and consultancy to capital markets participants within Europe and are voted for by clients and financial users in the data management space.

This award acknowledges the groundbreaking identifier alignment solution developed through the partnership between ANNA and the DTIF, including the issuance of the first set of International Securities Identification Numbers (ISINs) for crypto assets.

ANNA is the central membership organisation for global Numbering Agencies, serving as the identification and Registration Authority for the International Securities Identification Number (ISIN) and Financial Instrument Short Name (FISN) standards, under appointment by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).

The DTIF issues and maintains DTIs (ISO 24165) as open, reference data to uniquely identify crypto assets and enhance transparency in digital markets.

This initiative meets the urgent need for standardised identification in digital assets by uniting emerging digital asset standards with those long established in traditional finance. Through the alignment of two complementary and interoperable identifiers-the International Securities Identification Number (ISIN) and the Digital Token Identifier (DTI) – it delivers greater transparency and creates a foundational reference data set built on open data principles.

Stephan Dreyer, Managing Director of ANNA, said: “Voted for by industry users, we are delighted to receive this award that acknowledges our collaboration with the DTI Foundation. Together, we’ve helped bridge traditional and digital asset markets with interoperable, ISO-based identifiers, and built a partnership that marks a major step forward in building critical investor confidence across the evolving digital asset ecosystem.”

The connection of reliable standards from authoritative sources represents a major advance in enabling product validation for both digital asset market participants and its regulators.

About ANNA
The Association of National Numbering Agencies (ANNA) is a global member association seeking to foster standardisation within the financial industry by upholding the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) principles and by promoting ISIN, FISN and CFI codes for financial instruments. This is achieved through ongoing, collaborative work with market participants, regulators and other standards bodies.

Under ANNA’s stewardship, the role of the ISIN in enabling global financial communications has been established worldwide. Founded in 1992 by 22 numbering agencies, today ANNA’s membership continues to grow, with more than 120 global members and partners allocating ISIN, FISN and CFI codes on behalf of their local jurisdictions. By putting in place rigorous governance around the development, allocation and sharing of ISIN, FISN and CFI codes, ANNA helps facilitate open, transparent markets diminishing barriers to access, while protecting the integrity of the standards. As a result, ISIN has become the recognised global standard for unique identification for all types of financial and referential instruments, helping to connect and protect global markets.

In addition, ANNA has established the Derivatives Service Bureau (DSB), a fully automated global numbering agency to meet the specific operational and regulatory requirements of the over-the-counter derivatives markets.
