Securities and Exchange Commission Philippines joins ANNA Confirmed at ANNA’s General Meeting, Brussels, June 2…
London, UK – The ANNA Derivatives Service Bureau today announced that registration for User Acceptance Testing (UAT) platform is open. The UAT environment is functionally complete and will enable prospective users of the DSB to complete testing before the October 2017 go-live.
To register for UAT, uses are requested to send an email addressed to email@example.com with “UAT Registration” in the subject line. In return, they will receive an email with a brief application along with terms and conditions. Sequencing for onboarding depends on the readiness of organizations to connect. In case of a backlog, organizations with a regulatory requirement to produce identifiers for OTC derivatives will be prioritized.
FIX connectivity is required for UAT testing. To obtain the FIX connectivity specifications, please visit the registration page on the ANNA website at https://www.anna-web.org/anna-dsb-connectivity-specifications.
The DSB is now in full pre-production delivery mode. The DSB Demo website is still available for future users to try out the experience of registering for ISINs, querying and obtaining ISIN files. Likewise the early testing of FIX connectivity on the DSB Demo site has also begin. The objective of the DSB development schedule is to ensure sufficient time for industry testing by users, enabling them to transition into production before European regulatory reporting of OTC derivatives becomes mandatory in January 2018.
About The Derivatives Service Bureau (DSB) Ltd
Headquartered in London, the DSB is a privately held subsidiary of the Association of National Numbering Agencies. Its core purpose is to serve as a global numbering agency, providing unique identification of OTC derivatives to serve the needs of market participants and regulators through allocation of the International Securities Identification Number (ISIN) as OTC products are created. The ISIN is a globally recognized and adopted ISO standard for identifying financial instruments.

Established in 1992 by 22 founding numbering agencies, ANNA is the membership organization of national numbering agencies, which are operated by depositories, exchanges, government agencies, nationally central data vendors and other financial infrastructure organizations. ANNA also serves as the registration authority for the ISIN and FISN standards, under appointment by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).
Under ANNA’s stewardship, the role of the ISIN in enabling global financial communications has been established worldwide. ISINs are issued today more than 200 jurisdictions worldwide. In addition, ANNA is developing the Derivatives Service Bureau (DSB), a fully automated global numbering agency to meet the operational and regulatory requirements of the over-the-counter derivatives markets.
