ANNA Newsletter July, 2025

Dear Reader,

In this newsletter we take a moment to reflect on key achievements for ANNA across the first half of this year, whilst also looking ahead to upcoming activities, events and priorities for the remainder of 2025.

Most prominently, earlier this year we enhanced access functionality to the ANNA Service Bureau and upgraded all related online informational materials. A campaign highlighting the depth and market benefits of the ASB’s referential instrument data followed, helping us earn industry recognition, with ANNA winning “Best Reference Data Provider” at the prestigious Waters Technology Inside Market Data and Inside Reference Data Awards 2025.

Recently, the ANNA-DTIF partnership also received further recognition, having been shortlisted as a finalist for the “Best Data Solution for Digital Assets” at the A-Team Data Management Insights Awards USA 2025. In Digital Assets we continue our strong alignment with Global Digital Finance (GDF). In February, ANNA and the DTIF were invited to provide insights for the GDF Annual Report

With respect to market developments, more than 126 million ISINs have now been assigned by NNAs and reported to the ASB—with March 2025 recording a strong 1.8 million new ISINs allocated for the month.

At our General Meeting (GM) in Croatia in June, we were delighted to re-elect Torsten Ulrich, Senior Advisor at WM Gruppe-WM Datenservice, and Laura Stanley, Director of Entity Data and Symbology at the London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG), to our Board of Directors. It is a great honour to have their continued guidance and we are certainly deeply grateful for their commitment, market insight and ongoing support of standards adoption across the industry.

The GM also confirmed the transition of the Derivatives Service Bureau (DSB) and E-Trading Software (ETS) from partner status to full membership, thus enabling them with full voting rights and bringing ANNA’s total full membership to 115.

We have also been very active across the global industry event circuit, with ANNA sponsorship, panel representation and advocacy efforts at events throughout Europe, North America and Asia. Looking ahead, we remain focused on championing the promotion and adoption of interoperable standards across both established and emerging markets.

It’s been a fast-paced period marked by some significant achievements and milestones for ANNA.
As always, we thank our members for their continued engagement and we look forward to a productive and dynamic second half of the year!

We sincerely hope you enjoy this edition.

Best wishes,
Stephan Dreyer
Managing Director, ANNA
