ANNA Newsletter May 2024

Dear Reader

In this newsletter we are delighted to bring together some of the key activity and achievement highlights for ANNA 2024-to-date.

Through a global programme of event sponsorship and participation, the work of the ANNA-DTIF partnership has particularly attracted much attention. In this period, further ISINs for crypto assets have been issued and we haveโ€‹โ€‹ actively promoted and educated the industry to the alignment benefits of joint ISIN and DTI standards.

Aligned to this, CCData, an FCA-authorised benchmark administrator and leading provider of digital asset data and index solutions, unveiled its introduction of DTIs and ISINs into its Asset Metadata solution. This is a major advancement in implementing uniform, compatible identification standards across the expanding realm of digital assets and we believe more adoption will follow.

We have also received award wins, with the ANNA and DTI Foundation partnership winning the โ€˜Most Innovative Data Standards Initiativeโ€™ at the A-Team Innovation Awards 2024, and Emma Kalliomaki, MD of ANNA and the DSB awardedย ‘Reference Data Professional of the Year’ย at the Waters Technology Women in Technology and Data Awards 2024. This recognised Emma for the successful launch of the global Unique Product Identifier (UPI) Service – our congratulations again!ย

We sincerely hope you enjoy this edition and we look forward to welcoming all our NNA members at the AGM in Madrid next month.

Best wishes
Slawomir Zajac
Treasurer, ANNA
