ANNA Newsletter September, 2024

Dear Reader

In this newsletter we are delighted to share some of the key activities and achievement highlights for ANNA from the past few months.

It’s been a particularly busy period during which ANNA, in conjunction with the DTI Foundation, has announced some exciting new collaborations that are significantly elevating the promotion and adoption of interoperable standards across existing and new markets.

In June ANNA and the DTI Foundation announced a collaboration with Global Digital Finance (GDF)-the world’s largest open innovation platform supporting the development of best practices for the digital asset industry, and In July, ANNA and the DTI Foundation collaborated with KYAX to Streamline Digital Asset Regulatory Reporting. KYAX is a global digital reporting tool, and through both these initiatives, we are witnessing a strong endorsement for identifier standards that bridge traditional markets with new emerging markets. 

We are delighted to be working with these organizations to facilitate greater integration within the wider digital asset ecosystem and look forward to more alliances. Over this period further ISINs for crypto assets have been issued and we have​​ continued to actively promote the alignment benefits of joint ISIN and DTI standards at various external global  events.

Internally we welcomed all NNA’s to a highly productive June 2024 Annual General Meeting hosted by CNMV in Madrid. This forum is always so essential for sharing experiences and knowledge and we thank all NNAs for all their participation and continued work.

We have also received more award wins, with ANNA awarded ‘Best Reference Data Provider’ in the Waters Rankings 2024 for the ANNA Service Bureau (ASB) and the DSB awarded ‘Best Reference Data Newcomer’ at the Waters Technology Inside Market Data & Inside Reference Data Awards 2024. This award recognizes the DSB for the successful launch of the new global Unique Product Identifier (UPI) Service.

For all ANNA members and partners please do note a forward date for your calendars: 2-4 Dec 2024, when we will hold the 2024 Extraordinary General Meeting in Warsaw, Poland- more details to follow on this.
