ANNA responds to ESMA consultation on MiCA technical standards
Brussels, 13th December: ANNA has submitted its response to ESMA’s consultation on Technical Standards specifying certain requirements of MiCA (2nd package). ANNA emphasized the complementary role of ISIN and DTI in improving transparency and efficiency in crypto-asset markets. Together, 2 identifiers create a linked framework, reducing operational complexity and providing greater clarity for market participants.
ANNA, alongside the Digital Token Identifier Foundation, has established a joint task force and signed a memorandum of understanding to advance interoperability between ISINs and DTIs. The association reaffirmed its support for using both identifiers under MiCA to enhance data quality, regulatory compliance and transparency in digital asset markets.
