Managing Director, Association of National Numbering Agencies (ANNA)
Stephan Dreyer is the Managing Director of ANNA. In this role, Stephan leads the daily operations of the association as well as the operational oversight of the ANNA Service Bureau (ASB). Stephan leads the work of the ANNA Management Body in delivering on their mandates to develop global industry identifier standards that foster market transparency, stability and efficiency, and help organizations meet regulatory requirements. Further, Stephan is responsible for the support of the ANNA members and partners and the growth of the association.
Stephan is chair of the ASB Advisory Committee and convener of the ASB Supervisory Committee. He oversees all activities related to digital assets within ANNA including serving as chair of the ANNA working group. A sought-after commentator and industry speaker on global identifier standards, he plays a leading role in advocating the adoption of global identifier standards for digital asset markets.
Stephan is ANNA’s Liaison Representative at the International Organization for Standards and a member of the Product Advisory Committee at the Digital Token Identifier (DTI) Foundation. He leads ANNA’s work as part of the ANNA/DTI Foundation partnership, which facilitates the introduction of innovative new ISINs to identify crypto assets. Stephan also represents ANNA in a number of industry working groups, including Global Digital Finance (GDF) and the Global Blockchain Business Council (GBBC).
Prior to joining ANNA in 2020, Stephan spent 25+ years working for Bloomberg LP in the US, London, and Frankfurt as a Senior Product Manager for Fixed Income Debt Capital Markets and Securitized Derivatives within the EMEA data management division where he spearheaded the development of data products for market transparency and regulatory purposes.
Stephan is a Fellow of the Digital Euro Association (DEA) and The European Carbon Offset Tokenization Association (ECOTA)
