Chair of the Management Body, Association of National Numbering Agencies (ANNA) Managing Director, WM Gruppe-WM Datenservice
Torsten Ulrich is a Director and Chair of the ANNA Management Body and is responsible for the oversight of all management body activities, with a specific focus on the strategic direction of ANNA, activities related to ANNA subsidiaries, as well as ISO matters.
Torsten is a strong advocate of financial instrument identification, classification and reference data and brings a wealth of experience and guidance to the Management Body and global ANNA membership. He is also a board member of the Derivatives Service Bureau (DSB) and the Identifier Engine Company (IEC).
Torsten is Managing Director of WM Group, responsible for the WM Datenservice . Before this, he spent more than a decade at Boerse Stuttgart in a variety of roles, with responsibilities including marketing, sales, stock exchange systems with a specific focus on information products. As Managing Director at the Exchange, he focused on the growth of the core business, before moving to WM Group in 2015.
Torsten started his career as a corporate customer advisor in the banking industry and subsequently served as an investment manager in the venture capital industry,
He is an alumnus of University of Stuttgart-Hohenheim where he studied economics.
