Uwe Meyer is the Executive Director and Secretariat of ANNA, a role he has held for nearly three decades, with overall responsibility for the organizational management and coordination of ANNA activities. In this role, he supports the ANNA Management Body across a number functions including financial matters, general meeting preparations and the assistance of potential members in the application process.
A leading industry voice on standards-related matters, Uwe represents the interests of ANNA at national and international conferences and actively participates in several ISO Working Groups including acting as convener.
Over his career, Uwe has held a variety of roles at WM Datenservice, Frankfurt and is currently serving as Manager, Standardization. In this function, he coordinates the impact of standard related matters internally on WM services as well as through dialogue with the market.
Uwe represents Germany in ISO TC68/SC8 (Reference Data for Financial Services) technical working groups and study groups supporting the national mirror groups of SC8 and TC68 at the German Standards Institute DIN (Deutsches Institut für Normung). He is also the co-convener of the German TC68 mirror group at DIN, responsible for the promotion and implementation of ISO standards in Germany.
Uwe has been appointed as Member of the Advisory Board “NAFin” (Normenausschuss Finanzen – Standards Committee Finance) at DIN and he is an alumnus of The University of Göttingen.
